Lately - Stafford Senior Photographer; Stafford Newborn Photographer

I may have fallen behind on posting lately, but I haven't been idle.  I've been lucky enough to do several fun photo sessions in the last couple months.

First up, I got to spend some time with sweet Baby C, just 12 days old!

Baby C has a big brother - Pepper.  I simply couldn't help myself and had a little shoot with this guy, too!

Wildcats - Stafford Sports Portraits Photographer

I try to do the sports portraits for my boys' teams each season.  I say try, because by the time we would have done Camden's soccer shots this fall, the baby belly was getting a little large to be crawling around on the ground with six- and seven-year-old soccer kids.  I did, however, do Jake's football first football team.  Never having done football photos before, I wasn't totally sure what to expect.  And let me tell you, I will always love football coaches!  Those boys were so disciplined and well-behaved.  Easiest sports shoot I've ever been involved in - and that's saying something since I was sick as a dog at the time!  I didn't bother the other parents for posting permission, so I'll only share Jake's photo.  Isn't he handsome!

The Buttercup Basket

A few days ago I got together with one of my favorite friends to take pictures of her ADORABLE kids wearing her FABULOUS hats!  Nichole is the talent behind The Buttercup Basket, a line of the cutest crocheted hats, hairbows, and even little teeny-tiny diaper covers.  I can't wait for her little number four - followed closely by our newest little one - to arrive.  More models for more hats and goodies!  Hop on over to her shop and enjoy the cuteness and fun.

My first shoot of the new year was with William and Catalina. He popped the question on New Years Eve (pretty romantic)! We braved the freezing temperatures to spend a morning in D.C. The setting - and the couple - were simply beautiful!

My dad came home on leave from Afghanistan, and the family (all except my brother who's in Iraq) came together for the weekend. Wonderful! And to add to the fun, I got to take pictures of my sister with her boyfriend...
